Winners

Meet July’s big winners (no, we don’t mean Team GB!)

The Tokyo 2020 Olympics gave everyone a welcome shot of excitement and pride as Team GB turned in an amazing performance. And our July winners had an extra reason to celebrate, especially the 46 lucky players who became National Lottery millionaires.

Even before the Olympics kicked off in Japan there were some fantastic Jackpot wins on The National Lottery’s Lotto game. The 7th July draw started things in fine style when 1 lucky player scooped an amazing £13.1Million Jackpot.

The 21st July Lotto draw served up a £2Million Jackpot winner and the 28th July draw – during the first week of the Olympics – created a £5.1Million Jackpot winner.

July was also the month we met some very excited EuroMillions winners. Alicia Harper, 23 – an expectant mum from Arbroath in Scotland – gained a second reason to celebrate after winning £1Million in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw. Read Alicia’s uplifting story here.

Another EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw had Sammantha Young smiling after her ticket delivered a £1Million prize. Sammantha, 33, admitted she thought she had won £1000 at first. Read her amazing story here.

Meanwhile, The National Lottery’s Set For Life game was on ‘Olympic’ form as it served up a top prize winner who will be receiving £10,000 a month for 30 years.

Thunderball was in great form too as 4 lucky players won the top prize of £500,000.

The action on the Instant Win Game front was as fast and furious as Adam Peaty’s efforts in the pool. 5 lucky players won prizes of £50,000 or more. 2 of our lucky Instant Win Game winners scooped prizes of £100,000 each and 2 more won £250,000 each.

Last, but by no means least, it was a strong month for Scratchcards. July delivered 11 high tier winners (prizes of £50,000 or more) and 3 of them scratched off a stunning prize of £1Million or more.
