Incredible 53 National Lottery players become millionaires in July

The month of July ended with an amazing win as the Lionesses defeated Germany 2-1 in the final of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022. But the England players weren’t the only people who had an epic win in July – no less than 53 lucky players became National Lottery millionaires.

Lotto got the game, sorry month, off to a good start by adding £1Million to the bank accounts of 7 players. That’s almost as many millionaires as the 8 goals the Lionesses slotted home against Norway!

Next off the bench was EuroMillions, which seemed to make millionaires faster than Beth Mead put it past the keeper. One lucky player won a mind-boggling £195,707,000 jackpot in the EuroMillions draw held on 19th July, 2022. Enough to buy your own football team, surely?

That massive win was just the tip of the EuroMillions iceberg in July. The game created a further 40 millionaires thanks to the Must Be Won and 22 UK Millionaire Maker draws.

We met Cumbria’s Helen Kuchczynski, 58, and her husband Lee, 52, who scooped £3.6Million in the EuroMillions draw on 12th July 2022. Not surprisingly, Helen thought the decimal point was in the wrong place when she saw her staggering prize on The National Lottery app. You can read the couple’s heartwarming story here.

Meanwhile, Set For Life ‘pitched’ in to make 8 players very happy indeed. They each won prizes of £10,000 a month for 1 year.

Instant Win Games put it in the back of the net for a total of 6 players. They included £1Million prizes won on Cash Bolt Millionaire and Jackpot Orange. 2 more £1Million prizes came courtesy of the £30 Million Mega Cash Showdown game and the £25 Million Cash Bonanza game.

July was also a busy month for National Lottery Scratchcards. A total of 6 players won big prizes with 1 scratching off an amazing £2Million prize.

Well done the Lionesses and well done to all our winners!
