National Lottery makes 31 millionaires in June
June left us waiting for some proper summer weather, but the England football team’s early successes at the European Championships helped put a smile on many people’s faces. However, few were grinning as widely as our lucky June winners – in particular, the 31 National Lottery players who became millionaires.
Can you imagine winning nearly £112Million? Well, that’s the amazing jackpot won in the 4th June 2021 Super Jackpot EuroMillions draw by a lucky UK player.
Another fantastic prize was scooped up in the 16th June 2021 Lotto draw when a lucky player won £2Million.
Meanwhile, The National Lottery’s Set For Life game served up a top prize winner who will be receiving £10,000 a month for 30 years. We met another Set For Life winner in June – a 45-year-old London businessman called Hitendrakumar Maugi. He won £10,000 every month for the next year and intends to use his prize to help others. Thunderball proved a really lucky game for 1 player in June who won the top prize of £500,000.
And there was plenty of action on the Instant Win Game front with 4 players winning prizes of £100,000 or more. 2 of our lucky Instant Win Game winners scooped prizes of £100,000 each and 2 more won £250,000 each.
Last, but by no means least, it was a particularly strong month for Scratchcards. June delivered an amazing 21 high tier winners (prizes of £50,000 or more) and 7 of them scratched off a stunning prize of £1Million each.
