National Lottery winners over the moon in June

A total of 19 lucky players became National Lottery millionaires in June, 2022.

Lotto smashed it out of the court with a trio of massive jackpot wins. One lucky player was lobbed a £20MMillion prize by the 4th June 2022 Lotto draw. The game also volleyed prizes worth £7.4MMillion and £3.9MMillion in the direction of two more lucky winners.

In total, Lotto served up 9 millionaires in June.

You’d think it would be hard to match Lotto’s ‘centre court’ performance, but EuroMillions rose to the occasion. The 10th June 2022 draw paid a staggering £54.9MMillion jackpot to a UK player who must have ‘jumped the net’ with joy.

EuroMillions made a total of 9 millionaires in June and we met Grimsby couple Calum Forrington and his wife, Kayleigh, who scooped £1MMillion on the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw.

Calum, 37, said, “I’d played the EuroMillions on the Friday, choosing to play as a one-off with my own ticket. It wasn’t until the following morning when I was eating my cereal before work that I remembered to check my online account. I was in complete shock when I scrolled down and saw my EuroMillions ticket was a winner... we both completely freaked out and I had to go outside to get some air! Another player who felt like an ace in June is Whitley Bay’s Sam Gray. The 46-year-old won an amazing £10,000 every month for a year on The National Lottery Set For Life game.

Sam is a regular National Lottery player, but as a fan of Lucky Dip tickets she rarely selected her own numbers. She took a different approach to the Set For Life draw on 26th May 2022, using a set of numbers she had chosen and saved to her National Lottery online account 2 years ago, but rarely used.
