September’s bumper harvest of big winners

September is a busy time for farmers as they gather in the crops. It was also a busy month for National Lottery players who enjoyed what can only be described as a bumper harvest of big wins.

The National Lottery created an amazing 29 new millionaires during the first month of autumn as the wins piled up like leaves on a footpath.

Lotto provided a good crop of big winners including 2 lucky players who won an incredible £5Million each in the Lotto draws held on 21st and 28th September. Another Lotto player scooped £7.1Million on the 10th September draw.

A further 11 Lotto players won £1Million each during September – enough to buy an awful lot of potatoes.

There were 2 truly staggering EuroMillions wins in September. A UK jackpot winner saw £110Million added to their bank account thanks to the 2nd September draw and another player won a £171.8Million UK jackpot on the 23rd September draw.

Set For Life’s top prize – £10,000 a month for 30 years – was won by 2 separate players in September. Meanwhile, 5 players made Thunderball rumble by winning the game’s top prize of £500,000.

Instant Win Games fielded some big wins, with 11 players scoring prizes £50,000 or more. Top of the Instant Win Game class was the player who harvested a £1Million prize.
